The first part of a trilogy that marks the blast-off for one of my favorites: Al Pacino. The movie briefs us on how things are run in a New York based, Italian mob family which happens to be one of the first ones ever to be formed in US. The sounds or visual effects are poor, but you are supposed to watch it for the artful, old school way the actors perform. Heavy movie with heavy actors which made history as well as featured in a lot of parodies. If you consider yourself a cinema fan then Coppola’s God Father it’s a definite must.
